Activities Overview
Learning is multidimensional at Nutfield, and a variety of activities complement our normal daily classes.
- Gym
- Classes have regular physical education sessions with a professional instructor.
- Music
- Our own Sue Dionne conducts music sessions for every class, focused on learning and fun through singing, playing instruments, and creating songs.
- Storytelling
- An outside professional storyteller visits twice each semester to share the power of imagination.
- Field Trips
- Whether visiting behind the scenes in their local grocery store or marching down to the East Derry firehouse or spending a day on the coast at Odiorne Point, Nutfield classes use field trips to explore the world beyond our classrooms.
- Special Events
- From Fall dance and Ice cream night fund raisers to traditional Field Day closing in the Spring.
